The male chorus sang today at church and afterwards my wife mentioned that we sang better than a few other choirs who sing regularly.

The male chorus sings only on the fifth Sundays.

We ate dinner at Olive Garden after church and went straight home since the rainy weather had a little cold nip on it.

I got a decent nap and have been mellow ever since.

Chilling on a Sunday evening is always a cool groove:)

If the entire 2008 could be like this!

Today I was asked the meaning behind my user name Seed Of Life and the name came to me in 1999 I believe when I writing songs for my first CD (way before they were remixed--night and day difference).

I have a music publishing company registered with BMI entitled Seed Of Life Music.

I actually had the domain name as well until I either got lazy or had a cash flow issue so bad that I failed to renew it.  A squatter is using the domain now while I have Seedoflifemusic.com that I desperately need to update.

I probably should point the domain to our page on Myspace which has the same user name.  My music history is posted there as well.

My main focus of music since my ministry calling on May 1, 1996 has been gospel music although I can still write and compose any type of music. 

My songs are called fishnets since they are designed to capture souls for Christ Jesus.

My music ministry formally started in February 2001 at a Black History program at Westside Full Gospel Baptist Church in Carrollton, GA.  It was the first time that I actually had performed any of my songs live.  The Spirit of the Lord led me to rap the songs versus singing them and the party has been on nonstop to the break of dawn ever since.

There is the beginning of the meaning of the phrase within the Holy Bible and I will say that this post is one that I may need to update since I am scheduled to teach Bible study tonight:)

John 1:1-5 states the following:

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Christ Jesus is indeed the Seed Of Life and I am just his pen or the water boy carrying the Living Water of Him.

To write lyrics and compose music is undoubtedly a gift from God and when it happens, there is this glow of the Holy Spirit that wicks off me like a flame that I can feel all around me.  It is love manifested.

After I once a grown man cry after I read probably the best lyrics to my wife Wyteria on our 6th anniversary with the line "Jesus is a friend of mine and I can see Him in you", I knew that my writing was not my own.

I was too shy as a child to be as bold as I am now.  There is no other reason for this strength other than God.

Another Biblical foundation is found throughout Genesis 1 where God created the earth by saying, "Let there be".

Everytime God spoke these words, there is Jesus going forth as the Word and the Holy Spirit which is the power of God manifesting everything.

After I googled the phrase "seed of life" years ago, I began to run across several meanings that only complimented what I had received.

There is a diagram as well that has been taken to another level as the yet-to-be-revealed logo for Seed Of Life Music.

Although I have not been as proficient within some of the organization tasks within my music (as most creative types suffer as well), the things that I do well are life changing because I am changed by them.

Please continue to follow my music career and legacy because to date, it is the richest thing that I have to leave my wife and daughters because the words did not exist before God gave them to me.

Now that I am finally free of corporate America, 2008 and beyond will begin to witness what has been already going on within my music lab, prayer walk, and faith lifestyle.

In Christ, I live, move, and have my being.  He is truly my All and All.
